Classic Massage

Classical massage, a traditional Western massage based on anatomical and physiological concepts, is the most commonly used massage technique by physiotherapists. It is used for purposes such as increasing circulation, providing relaxation and reducing muscle spasms. It helps to remove toxic substances from tissues and muscles.

Classical massage techniques used

1) Eufflage - Stroking (Plastering)

Expansion and hyperemia of the capillaries of the skin
Softening the skin by making the sebaceous glands of the skin secrete more sebum
Increased circulation rate, facilitated lymph drainage
Calming and resting due to its effect on nerve endings
Increased function of sweat glands
Provides the elimination of toxic substances in tissues and muscles

2) Petrisage - Kneading

Increased blood circulation and nourishment of muscles, organs and bones,
Strengthening the muscles by increasing their tone,
It is applied to the abdominal organs to facilitate digestion and resolve constipation.


3) Friction (Pressure Application);

Increasing substance exchange,Prevent stiffness in the joints by opening the fibroses

4) Tapotmen (Punching);

Stimulation of muscles, skin and nerve endings,
